Plant lists for Southern South Australia from 1986 to 2014

Brief description

The initial idea was to produce plant lists of our local conservation parks in the Southern Lofty Ranges. This was to inform the rangers in charge what species grew in their parks. Over time the locations expanded to include native forest reserves and council reserves. We also received invites to list species on private properties, several of these with heritage agreements. Then in the mid-nineties we were asked by the Strathalbyn Naturalists to do a chapter in their book Natural History of Strathalbyn & Goolwa Districts. We were able to use some of our old lists but needed to do several more in the area covered by the book. Also, in the Nineties Denzel Murfet was asked by the Hindmarsh Island Landcare to do a report on the vegetation growing on Hindmarsh Island. Simple species lists for reserves and private properties with native vegetation. Several lists are of the native species only as the owners were interested to know what native species they had on their land.
