Brief description

This data set contains the locations of offshore petroleum titles/leases/tenements, established for exploration and/or production purposes. Data was sourced from the Australia’s National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator and Australian States archives. Data for all titles/leases/tenements, generated pre-2011 were sourced from states online archives. Data is made publically available by the NESP Marine Biodiversity Hub
