The species found in the Southern Ocean (water between the Antarctic continent and the Subtropical Convergence) are described in detail, while those found in the adjacent waters (between 30 degrees south and the Subtropical Convergence) are included in the keys. The class, order, family, genus and species descriptions used in this dataset are from Thompson, H. (1948) Pelagic Tunicates of Australia.
