We propose to time a high Galactic latitude millisecond pulsar, J1947-18, which was previously identified as isolated. Recently, during the re-processing of Parkes archival data (Project code: P1059), we found that this pulsar is in a binary system. This pulsar was originally discovered in archival data of the intermediate and high Galactic latitude parts of the Southern High Time Resolution Universe pulsar survey and have rotational period of 2.60 ms and DM of 25 pc cm-3. Here we propose make use of Parkes non-Galactic observing time and confirm the nature of this potential binary and measure its spin and orbital parameters. This information could lead to new opportunities of measuring neutron star mass, testing gravitational theories, and MSPs formation channels at high galactic latitudes.Available: 2023-09-29
