Full description
The Parkes radio telescope has discovered more than half of the known radio pulsars. Much of the raw data from historical surveys has now been collated and stored in the CSIRO data archive. This allows us to reprocess these surveys with modern search algorithms. We expect to discover pulsars that were not discovered in the original processing (such as pulsars in fast binary systems, intermittent pulsars, burst events, etc.). This proposal is to request observing time to confirm our expected candidates.Available: 2016-01-20
