Full description
Young pulsars are of interest in several different ways: they are sometimesassociated with supernova remnants, they sometimes have high-energy
(optical, X-ray, gamma-ray) pulsed emission, and they usually have
significant period variations and often suffer glitches. We propose frequent
monitoring of the period of about 35 mostly young pulsars to provide
a database for high-energy, ATCA and LBA observations of pulsars and to
investigate variations in their period.
