RNASeq data from 324 oat leaf tissues sampled at long day and short day controlled environment conditionsLineage: This dataset comprises transcriptomic data generated from glasshouse-grown plants of the OzOat diversity panel under controlled environment conditions. Leaf tissue was collected at the two-leaf developmental stage from plants grown under short day and long day photoperiod treatments for RNA extraction. A total of 648 RNA-seq libraries were successfully constructed, representing 324 OzOat panel varieties, with two photoperiod treatments per genotype. Paired-end sequencing (2 × 100 bp) was performed on the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform using an S4 flowcell at Ramaciotti Genomics. Sequencing yielded an average of 34 million reads per library, with a mean insert size of approximately 95 bp, providing high-quality transcriptome data suitable for gene expression and regulatory analyses.
