Full description

The OSSCAR dataset was collected during RV Investigator voyage IN2024_V01 as part of the Multidisciplinary Investigations of the Southern Ocean (MISO) program. The voyage took place from 2 January to 5 March 2024 (AEST), departing Hobart and returning to Fremantle.

OSSCAR observations provide measurements relevant to air-sea interactions and upper-ocean processes across the Southern Ocean, contributing to integrated studies of physical, biogeochemical, and atmospheric processes. The dataset supports research into coupled ocean-atmosphere dynamics and the role of the Southern Ocean in the climate system.
