Brief description

The candidate old growth forest and other forest growth stages dataset was developed for the Eden Comprehensive Regional Assessment (CRA) process. The dataset was derived by integrating structural classes mapped from Aerial Photographic Interpretation (API), interpretability classes derived from vegetation mapping units and logging history information using a set of decision rules developed by the Eden Old Growth Expert Panel and refined by the Environment and Heritage Technical Committee.
