Statement: 1:100 000 scale geological maps published by the Northern Territory Geological Survey were scanned by Geoscience Australia in TIF format and registered to frames in GDA 1994 coordinates. The maps may also be provided in unregistered PDF or JPEG formats. 1:250 000 scale geological maps sourced from the Bureau of Mineral Resources or the Northern Territory Geological Survey. Some maps were digitised under the NTData Project or by the SIMS group within the Australian Geological Survey Organisation. Digital geology is provided for all sheets, however the atest edition digital geology for the Birrindudu, The Granites, Mount Solitaire, Highland Rocks, and Mount Theo sheets have not been completed by the NTGS. Polygon items do not comply with solgeol layers in the Geoscience Australia Digital Data Dictionary. 1: 500 000 scale geological maps and interpreted geology maps, sourced from Bureau of Mineral Resources mapping were scanned by Geoscience Australia and are provided as registered or unregistered images. The North Arunta Region, May 2004 first edition interpreted geology map, published by the Northern Territory Geological Survey, was scanned and registered to the Albers Equal Area projection noted on the map.
