Full description

This file is a GeoPackage containing multi-polygon geometries for each LGA across Australia. Each LGA stores the normalised multi-hazard index across three critical infrastructure categories (Transport, Energy and Telecommunications) and four GWLs (Baseline, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0). This file was generated as part of the National Climate Risk Assessment for Critical Assets by CSIRO Data61 during 2024-2025.

Lineage: The LGA geometries were obtained from the ABS website from the file called "Local Government Areas - 2022 - Shapefile" (https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/standards/australian-statistical-geography-standard-asgs-edition-3/jul2021-jun2026/access-and-downloads/digital-boundary-files/LGA_2022_AUST_GDA2020_SHP.zip)

The normalised multi-hazard index was derived from both asset and hazard datasets.
