Brief description

This data packages describes a series of laboratory incubation experiments conducted on soils collected from around Australia. The incubation experiments investigated nitrification rates and N2O emissions as affected by nitrogen fertiliser application with and without nitrification inhibitors. A range of nitrification inhibitors were examined. The incubation experiments were conducted at a range of temperatures and across different soil types. The aim of the project is to identify the major driver of nitrification inhibitor performance in Australian agricultural soils.
