Full description

I'm a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Queensland University of Technology and work within the QUT CyPhy lab. Here I work on projects related to mobile robotics and computer vision.

I've long been fascinated by probabilistic techniques for sensor and data fusion and the problem of simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), mPhD thesis focused on robust graph-based models for probabilistic estimation.

More recently, my work has focused on place recognition and environmental perception under changing environments and multipath mitigation and how to improve the localization accuracy for satellite-based navigation systems (such as GPS).

I am also intrigued by biologically inspired approaches to SLAM.
