This house for a couple in suburban Marrickville. The brief for the project was to build a cosy and comfortable home that told a story of its past, while still maintaining a large, north-facing garden on its awkward triangular block. The client lived in an existing cottage on the site and that allowed the architects to have knowledge of the best orientation and outlook for the future house.
