Full description
By 1825 a Chief Constable had been appointed at Newcastle.(1) By 1835 Newcastle was one of the Country Police Districts of New South Wales.(2) In 1863, Newcastle Police Station was operating under the Head Station of Maitland in the North-Eastern Police District. (3)
In 2015 Newcastle Police Station was located in the Newcastle City Local Area Command within the Northern Region. In 2015 its address was Corner of Church & Watt Streets, Newcastle.(4)
