Brief description Bowel cancer is a very common disease that will be diagnosed in 1/12 Australians living to age 85 and leads to over 4000 deaths annually. In this application, we are proposing to research a specific type of bowel cancer that has been associated with a particularly poor outcome. We will use a combination of pathological, genomic and cell biology techniques to better understand these cancers and discover new ways to treat them.
