New Lambton South Public School, in the County of Northumberland, was established in January 1950 . Public Schools are basic elementary schools in the New South Wales education system. When the New Lambton South school commenced an attendance of twenty children for a school of this classification. The attendance figure was lowered to nine students in 1957. New Lambton South Public School was erected on Payne’s Paddock at New Lambton situated on St James Road. It was a full primary school enrolling both boys and girls (1). In 2004 the School was located at St James Road, New Lambton in the Hunter / Central Coast Region (2). FOOTNOTES
