NMIP evaluates grain yield from three levels of yield trials sown at a maximum of 8 field trials from 6 locations in any one season. Two locations in each of the major growing regions are represented, two in Southern Queensland (Warra and Warwick). A small KEW belted front header is used to harvest either 2 row or 4 row plots from 6-10m in length.
