National data for Australia's ecosystem services: irrigated agricultural water supply and use (100 m resolution): 2001-02 to 2023-24

This collection provides data created primarily for the purposes of national ecosystem services accounts. The data provide estimates of irrigation water use and ecosystem-derived water supply covering all irrigated agricultural land across Australia. The data cover 2001–02 to 2023–24 and are reported by financial year (1 July to the following June 30). For example, for the 2001–02 financial year the files have 2002 in the filename. The data comprise spatial and tabular data as follows:
•\tirrigation water use (GeoTIFF 100 m grid)
–\tirrigation water use by State/Territory (Excel)
–\tirrigation water use by Statistical Area Level 4 (SA4) (Excel)
–\tirrigation water use by Statistical Area Level 2 (SA2) (Excel)
•\tarea of estimated irrigated agricultural land (GeoTIFF 100 m grid)
•\tecosystem-derived water supply by ecosystem type (Excel).
