As part of the Anzac centenary commemorations, the National Archives of Australia has developed an API which allows search queries for detailed information from our online catalogue relating to World War 1 service records.

The data available links to our Discovering Anzacs Website.

The service personnel dossiers of men and women who served during World War 1 are held in series B2455 (First Australian Imperial Forces Personnel Dossiers).

We encurage cultural institutions and researchers to apply for an API key using the reqest form, and incorporate in their own Anzac centenary projects links back to search results for individual person and profiles on the Discovering Anzacs website.
