The Mulwalla Police Station in the Murray District was established by 30 September 1868 (1) The station was initially staffed by a single mounted constable. (2) By 1870 the station was known as Mulwala (3) A temporary police station was set up for the 'Rock Isle Mulwala Easter Pop Festival' from 31 March - 3 April 1972 (4) Endnotes:
