Durgasri Jaisankar is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Optometry and Vision Science, Faculty of Health, Queensland University of Technology. She completed her Bachelor’s in Optometry from the Elite School of Optometry, Chennai, India in 2014. Her Ph.D. thesis topic is “Influence of testing methods on the evaluation of peripheral ocular optics and peripheral visual performance”.
Durgasri has 19 peer-reviewed publications including two papers from her Ph.D. work. She received CDA Theme HDR publication award (2019) for her first Ph.D. paper. Her research interests include myopia progression control, adaptive optics, peripheral visual performance, and retinal disease diagnosis.
