Full description
This dataset comprises all available de-identified data for participants at baseline, 3 and 6 months, for a randomised controlled trial testing effects of Mediterranean-style diet and fish oil (compared with a comparison group) on mental and cardiometabolic health in adults with self-reported depression. The dataset includes demographic information, Mediterranean diet scores, food frequency questionnaire items, erythrocyte fatty acid analysis, Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS), Assessment of Quality of Life (AQoL-8D), Positive and Negative Affect scale (PANAS), sleep quality, and metabolic/physiological assessments). Totals or subscales were calculated where required (e.g. DASS subscales, total Mediterranean diet score, etc.) but otherwise the data remain in raw form. Note that linear mixed modelling analyses were done with the data in long format.
