A traditional song called Kooyaa, recorded by Therese Minitong Kemelfield at Koongaa around 1978 for VTS education. The song is sung at a memorial feast. This particular one is about a female who committed suicide by hanging herself because she thought she was going to be killed. They sing about her thoughts and what she may had been thinking of prior to the suicide.. Language as given:
