Full description

This series consists of minutes of the Railways Classification Board's (State Jurisdiction) meetings.

The series currently comprises two consignments.

The P/1 consignment consists of the minutes and working papers of the interim Departmental Classification Board which came into effect in 1917 prior to the passing of the Railway Classification Board Act 1919 (No. 3006).

The P/2 consignment consists of minutes from the passing of the Act. The first meeting was held 15 December 1919. Minutes are transcripts of meetings, and document the complete log of claims proceedings.
