Daily count of pollen grains collected over the summer pollen season in a pollen trap sited at the University of Melbourne Parkville. Includes all pollen types. Data from 1996 onwards is accessible at http://www.botany.unimelb.edu.au/botany/pollencount/pollencount.html as excel and gif files organised by year/month/day. Notes and explanatory information are also at this URL. The period surveyed varies but most years covers 1 September to 31 December. Data from 2003 onwards distinguishes between "grass" and "other pollen" and includes daily weather forecast. Data collected with funding assistance from Asthma Victoria. Daily pollen counts published in various media including the Herald Sun newspaper and Asthma Victoria website over summer pollen season.
