Covers: -Total Pay Indicator, Per Cent (All Employed Respondents). -Basic Hourly Rate, Per Cent ( All Employed Respondents). Part of Consumer Attitudes, Sentiments & Expectations (CASiE) in Australia. The survey is conduct monthly by telephone and the sample size is typically 1200 households. Each respondent is characterized by: gender, age, occupation, education, political party preference, home ownership, household income, and postcode. The Survey is used to compile the following Report: Melbourne Institute Wages Report. The Melbourne Institute Wages Report records employees' (self-reported) wage changes over the previous twelve-month period and their expected wage in the year ahead. Complements the ABS labour cost index. This report is produced quarterly.Data time period: 1997
