Full description
Since 1980, the Medical Board has been required to produce an annual report, providing a useful means of communication with both Parliament and the community. It was decided in 1992 that, due to delays between the preparation of the report and its reception by practitioners, a regular bulletin would be produced to inform registered doctors on matters of immediate relevance to their daily practice.Examples of content included in the first issue include pieces on ownership of medical records, proposed changes to the Act, resources for the Board and a general article on the "sensitive issue of improper relationships with patients".
