Brief description
In 1963 the Palmerston North Branch of the Victoria University of Wellington merged with Massey Agricultural College (Palmerston North, N.Z.) to form the Massey University College of Manawatu. In 1964 this became the Massey University of Manawatu. In the latter part of 1966 its name was changed to Massey University.
