Freshwater fish catches collected in the Mary River and Albert River (Qld) as part of a long-term research program. Abundances of freshwater fish species were monitored using a standardised sampling regime involving multiple-pass backpack electrofishing and block seine-netting at 17 sites in the Mary River and 11 sites in the Albert River. Sites were sampled at quarterly intervals (Winter, Spring and Summer) over four years between 1994 and 1997.
