Brief description

Manningham City Council is located in Melbourne's north-eastern suburbs, commencing with its western boundary in Bulleen, 10 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD and extending to Wonga Park at its eastern extremity, 32 kilometres from the CBD. The City is bounded by the Yarra River, Maroondah City and the Cities of Whitehorse and Boroondara in the south and Banyule City and the Yarra River in the west.

Covering 114 square kilometres, Manningham includes the suburbs of Bulleen, Doncaster, Doncaster East, Donvale, Park Orchards, Templestowe, Templestowe Lower, Warrandyte, Warrandyte South and Wonga Park, as well as parts of Nunawading and Ringwood North.

Bordered by the Yarra River to the north, Manningham has large areas of open space with more than 300 parks and reserves across the municipality and also includes a mix of shopping and dining precincts, and vibrant neighbourhoods with attractions such as local galleries, nurseries and community centres.

Council comprises nine Councillors who are democratically elected by the Manningham community. Three Councillors represent each of the three electoral wards of Heide, Koonung and Mullum Mullum.

Manningham has a diverse and multicultural community, which brings a wealth of languages, music, food and cultural traditions to the area.
