The Making Multicultural Australia archive is the source of much of the library of material available on the award-winning educational website "Making Multicultural Australia" (http://www.multiculturalaustralia.edu.au/library/). The archive contains a wide range of artefacts (approximately 3000 items) that have been collected to form a rich multi-faceted research resource on the topics of multiculturalism, racism and immigration over Australia's history since colonisation in 1788. It is a valuable resource for researchers interested in these topics, whether from the perspective of studies in history, sociology, politics, public policy, international or cultural studies or other fields.The following types of research resources are indicative of the range of holdings:
