This dataset contains oceanographic data collected at a 60m coastal station off Low head, Tasmania (lat. 40 deg. 45 min. S, long. 146 deg. 45 min. E) between December 1948 and August 1954. The station was set up under the CSIRO coastal monitoring programme in the 1940s and was sampled approximately monthly for temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, phosphate and nitrate. Data from 1954 onwards are stored on-line as part of the CMR hydrology archive in Hobart.
