This dataset contains oceanographic data collected at a coastal station off Lizard Island, Queensland (lat. 14 deg. 42 min. S, long. 145 deg. 29 min. E) between August 1974 and December 1983. The station was set up under the CSIRO coastal monitoring programme in the 1970s and was sampled approximately monthly for temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and nitrate.
