This dataset indicates parts of the State road network that are subject to declarations of Limited Access. The information used to define this has been obtained from current proclamations of Limited Access made in accordance with Part IVA section 52A of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935.
The main purpose of declaring a State road to be a Limited Access road is to enhance road safety and efficiency.
