Light House is a functional response to extreme site condition. Located at the edge of a cliff immediately north of Sydney, Australia, the temperament of the land is not conducive to occupation – any building in this place must wrestle with the local environment. Winds climb vertically accelerating onto this site at 2.25 times their original velocity and carry salt from the ocean below.
