Brief description
This dataset contains historical information about collisions and boom strikes occurring at level crossings on the Queensland rail network. This data represents legacy information from 2009 to 2016, when the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) was the Rail Regulator in Queensland. As a result, the dataset reflects a specific point in time and has not been updated since 2016.
Responsibility for managing this data was transferred to the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR) in 2017. The historical data was provided to ONRSR in 2017, and TMR no longer retains this functionality to verify or manage this information. If you require additional data beyond what is available here, please contact ONRSR directly via their Request for data or email at - [email protected].
