Full description

In a search of pilot observations from the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) at 943 MHz, we discovered circularly-polarized, steep-spectrum, and variable radio emission from the gamma-ray source Fermi J1646.5-4406. However, no pulsation has been detected from previous pulsar searching observations. We propose two epochs of LBA observations to obtain improved astrometry, constrain the distance, and scattering properties of the source.
