The TANAMI program maximizes the scientific returns from the VLBI monitoring of southern hemisphere AGN by embracing the TeV era with observations in the 2.3 GHz band where TeV blazars are brighter. This continues our practice of incorporating emerging scientific opportunities which, for example, have placed us in a central role in multi-messenger astrophysics and the study of emerging classes of sources from Fermi observations. These VLBI observations are the only means to obtain parsec scale kinematics and morphology of AGN which are essential to answer the most exciting open questions in AGN jet physics and their connection to high energy astrophysics. We request continuation of this highly productive, uniquely long time-baseline monitoring program that is strongly supported by multi-wavelength resources and will undoubtedly be a prime legacy dataset from the LBA.Available: 2024-04-17
