A photocopy of the booklet, labelled 92.3 Gragnanella was annotated by Linda Barwick with further details of this performance. The Piazza al Serchio company performed regularly throughout the 1990s and early 2000s in the maggio series sponsored by the Centro Tradizioni Popolari della Provincia di Lucca. In 1992 LB recorded five performances of this Maggio, on 5/7/92, 19/7/92, 6/8/92, 16/8/92 and 23/8/92. In 1999 the Gorfigliano company also performed this Maggio (see performance at Gragnanella on VT9902). The text by Giuseppe Coltelli is based on chivalrous themes, and some of its history is traced in Barwick, L. (1994).
