Contains 3 series of research material related to his research project 'Colonial Houses and Domestic Life in South Australia from 1836 to 1900', conducted while Lawrence was as a Research Fellow from the University of Geneva. A full copy of his proposal for the research project is included. Includes drawings of various cottages around South Australia. Includes measured drawings of the historic cottages at Truro Street, Burra in South Australia's mid north, known as the Paxton Square Cottages.
