It is projected on a Lambert Conformal Conic projection, and shows glaciers/ice shelves, penguin colonies, refuges/depots. Data source: Five Landsat TM scenes (133-108, 130-108, 128-109, 128-110, 129-110), acquired 3 January 1990, 16 March 1989, 18 March 1989, 18 March 1989, 16 October 1988 respectively, and four Landsat MSS scenes (139-109, 137-109, 137-110, 139-110), acquired 15 March 1974, 23 February 1974, 23 February 1974, 15 March 1974 respectively. Projection: Lambert Conformal Conic, standard parallels 68 degrees 40 minutes, and 71 degrees 20 minutes. Co-ordinates: Geographical. Magnetic Variation: Magnetic declination 69.7 degrees. Magnetic north is correct for January 1992 and moves westerly by about 0.10 degrees each year. True north and magnetic north are shown diagrammatically for a position at the centre of the map. Full description

Satellite image map of Lars Christensen Coast, Mac. Robertson Land, Antarctica. This map is part (b) of a series of four north Prince Charles Mountains maps. This map was produced for the Australian Antarctic Division by AUSLIG (now Geoscience Australia) Commercial, in Australia, in 1991. The map is at a scale of 1:500000, and was produced from Landsat TM and MSS scenes.
