Lalbert West State School (School No. 4541) (VA 5491) was a coeducational primary school located in the rural district of Lalbert, approximately 40km south of Swan Hill in north-western Victoria.

The school first opened in 1936, at the request of local parents. It operated out of a leased two-room building.

Just ten years later, in April 1946, a shortage of teachers led to the closure of Lalbert West State School, with the students conveyed instead to Lalbert State School (School No. 559).
