The Herbarium of Kings Park and Botanic Garden (KPBG) was established in 1962 to document the flora found within the grounds of Kings Park, Bold Park, and the Botanic Gardens, and house vouchers of wild sourced specimens collected state-wide for propagation within the living collections. Today, the collection houses an estimated 32,000 specimens.
