A graduate of the Melbourne History School, Margaret Kiddle joined it as a tutor in 1946. By 1950 she had published Caroline Chisholm and had begun work on Men of Yesterday; a social history of the Western District. Despite severe illness she brought this to completion but not to publication. It was edited and seen through the press by Professors La Nauze and Crawford.Data time period: 1914 to 1958
