Full description

Keysborough Secondary College (School No. 8867) (VA 5485) is a co-educational secondary school in Melbourne’s southeast.

The school was established in 2009, through the merger of four schools in the area: Chandler Secondary College (School No. 7712), Heatherhill Secondary College (School No. 7903), Coomoora Secondary College (School No. 8326), and Springvale Secondary College (School No. 8325). Before it officially opened, the school’s interim name was Keysborough Springvale Secondary College.

Each of the former school sites became a campus of the new Keysborough Secondary College, named after the former schools. In 2010 the Heatherhill Campus was renamed Banksia and the Chandler Campus was renamed Acacia, and over the course of 2011 both the Springvale and Coomoora campuses were closed.

From 2017 to 2019, works were completed at the Acacia campus to construct new hospitality, arts and technology areas, and at the Banksia Campus to update the performing arts and physical education facilities.

As of 2025, Keysborough Secondary College continues to operate, with approximately 2000 students across its two campuses.

This school should not be confused with Keysborough Secondary College (School No. 7213) (VA 3778), the former Keysborough Technical School which was closed in 1992.

Data time period: [2009 TO 3000]
