For the purposes of this collection, Kasghar is defined as the modern and ancient city and the eleven countries that currently form the greater region of Kasghar. The photographs were taken by John Gollings in March-April 2005 using a Nikon D2x camera and a Kodak 14n camera. Brief description

This collection contains approximately 7,000 photographs taken in the Kashgar Prefecture of Western China as part of the Kashgar Project.
