This web-report presents the results of analysis of farm financial and physical performance data collected from irrigation farms in the Murray-Darling Basin over the period 2013-14 to 2015-16. The results in this reports include key farm performance measures, water trading, farm investment, and irrigation technologies for rice, cotton, dairy, grape and horticulture farms.

The web-reports draw on data from the ABARES annual Murray-Darling Basin Irrigation Survey. This survey has been conducted by ABARES since 2006-07 and provides government and industry stakeholders with important data for analysing and monitoring changes in irrigation industries in the Murray-Darling Basin.

The survey was funded by the Murray-Darling Basin Authority and the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources.
