Notes:



'Born Loughrae, co Galway, 1933. Family keen on Irish music and ancing, hold house parties. Started ot play melodeon form age 17. Emigrated to England 1954. Emigrates to Australia 1960. Discusses the personal and social dislocation of emigration. Starts to play again in Melbourne with formation of CCE in 1970s. Plays in social occasions, subsequently from 1990s has been active in Irish session scene.'
