Unpublished field recording: Graeme Smith interviewing Paddy O'Neil. Cassette tape. Australia, 14 February 1982. Notes: 'Born 1936, enlisted in Irish army in 1952, learns drumming and war pipes. Involved in CCE when it forms inn Ireland in 1950s. Emigrated first to England, living in Leeds, emigrates to Australia in 1969. Plays many instruments, including B/C accordion, mandolin, banjo, mouth organ, bodhran. Involved in Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (CCE) in Melbourne from its formation.
